What is Remy hair, non-remy hair and virgin hair?

  • Non-remy hair is collected from the floor of hair salons and temples. Cuticles are in mixed directions, causing tangling and matting. To fix this, the hair will go through an acid bath to completely strip the cuticle. However, the hair will become tangled again after a certain amount of time.
  • Remy hair: each bundle Remy hair is collected from several donors, but all the cuticles are in the same direction.
  • Virgin hair is hair that has never been processed or chemically treated and comes from one donor.
